As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Paul Johnston is concerned with the total wellness of patients under his care. His belief that the body can heal itself is a result of being born into a Chiropractic family, along with his father and brother.
Dr. Johnston began his journey in Chiropractic in 1973 after graduating from Longview High School in Texas. He attended Kilgore College and Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated in 1978 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Johnston then moved to Shreveport, La in 1979 practicing Chiropractic as an Associate. Just five years later, in 1984, Dr. Johnston built and opened his own practice and is still practicing at that location today. Dr. Johnston is a member of the State Association of Chiropractic, The American Functional Neurology Institution, and the Gonstead Clinical Society.
Dr. Johnston enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Carrie and Leah, who are both in the teaching profession. Leah is a 4th grade teacher and lives in Alabama. Carrie is an English teacher and lives in Illinois. Dr. Johnston has a granddaughter, with a grandson on the way, due in late 2015. He enjoys playing golf with friends and is a member First Methodist Church.
